The Cult - Love

"Love", released in 1985, is The Cult's third studio album, marking a shift in their sound towards a more gothic rock and post-punk influenced style, while still retaining elements of hard rock.

Produced by Steve Brown, the album includes some of the band's biggest hits, such as "She Sells Sanctuary" and "Rain". Interestingly, "She Sells Sanctuary" became one of the band's biggest hits and an alternative rock classic, with its catchy melody and 12-string guitars. This album helped establish The Cult as one of the most important bands of the post-punk movement, blending energy with darker atmospheres. "Love" is widely regarded as one of the band's best albums and a milestone in 80s music.
